Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Best Smile Dental website at https://bestsmiledental.com.sg/, including any appointment-booking, enquiry and communication features available through the website.

This website is operated by Best Smile Dental Pte Ltd, referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “Best Smile Dental”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please discontinue your use of the website.

1. About this website

This website provides general information about Best Smile Dental, our dental practitioners, clinic facilities, dental services, appointment availability, subsidies, payment schemes and related oral-health topics.

Information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute personalised dental or medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, a professional consultation or a guarantee that any treatment is suitable for you.

A proper diagnosis and treatment recommendation can only be made after an appropriate consultation and clinical assessment by a qualified dental professional.

2. Medical emergencies

This website and its appointment-booking features are not intended for medical or dental emergencies.

If you are experiencing severe bleeding, serious facial trauma, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, rapidly increasing swelling or another potentially life-threatening condition, seek immediate emergency assistance or attend the nearest hospital emergency department.

Submitting an appointment request, website form or WhatsApp message does not guarantee that it will be reviewed immediately.

3. Appointment requests

You may use the website or the appointment-booking platform linked from the website to request a dental appointment.

An appointment request is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Best Smile Dental or our appointed booking service provider. The availability shown online may change and is not guaranteed.

When making an appointment, you agree to:

  • provide complete, current and accurate information;
  • provide contact details through which we may reach you;
  • inform us of any relevant dental concerns or circumstances when requested;
  • attend your appointment at the confirmed date and time; and
  • notify us as soon as reasonably possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

We may contact you by telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, email or another communication method you provide for purposes connected with your appointment, including confirmation, reminders, changes and follow-up administration.

Best Smile Dental may reschedule, decline or cancel an appointment where reasonably necessary, including because of practitioner availability, operational requirements, incomplete information, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4. Cancellations and late attendance

Please contact the clinic as early as possible if you cannot attend your appointment.

Late attendance may reduce the time available for your consultation or treatment. Where there is insufficient time to provide treatment safely and appropriately, we may reschedule the appointment.

Any cancellation, deposit or missed-appointment policy communicated to you during the booking process or by the clinic will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

5. Appointments for children and other patients

A parent, legal guardian or properly authorised representative may make an appointment on behalf of another person.

By doing so, you confirm that:

  • you are authorised to provide the patient’s information;
  • the information you provide is accurate;
  • you have the authority to communicate with us concerning the appointment; and
  • where required, an appropriate parent, guardian or authorised person will accompany the patient.

Clinical consent requirements will be addressed separately before any examination, procedure or treatment is carried out.

6. Treatment information and results

Descriptions of dental services, procedures, technology, expected recovery, possible outcomes and other clinical information on this website are general in nature.

Dental treatment outcomes vary between individuals. They may depend on factors including the patient’s oral health, general health, anatomy, lifestyle, treatment compliance and response to treatment.

Nothing on this website constitutes:

  • a promise or guarantee of a particular result;
  • confirmation that a procedure is suitable for you;
  • a complete explanation of the risks, benefits or alternatives associated with a treatment; or
  • a substitute for informed consent and professional consultation.

Before undergoing treatment, you should discuss the proposed treatment, alternatives, expected fees, material risks and anticipated outcomes with your treating dental practitioner.

7. Fees, subsidies and insurance information

Any prices, fee ranges, promotions, subsidies, insurance information, MediSave information, CHAS information or payment estimates displayed on the website are provided for general guidance unless expressly stated otherwise.

Final fees may depend on the patient’s clinical condition, the complexity of treatment, diagnostic findings, materials used and the treatment plan agreed upon after consultation.

Eligibility for subsidies, insurance claims, MediSave use, corporate benefits or other payment arrangements is subject to the applicable scheme rules, approval requirements, claim limits and the patient’s individual eligibility.

The presence of an insurer’s or administrator’s name or logo on the website does not guarantee that every procedure will be covered or that every claim will be approved.

8. Personal information

When you use our appointment-booking, contact or communication features, we may collect personal information such as your:

  • name;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • preferred appointment details;
  • date of birth, where required;
  • dental concerns or reasons for your appointment;
  • communications with us; and
  • other information you voluntarily provide.

We may collect, use and disclose this information for purposes including:

  • responding to enquiries;
  • arranging, confirming and managing appointments;
  • verifying patient details;
  • communicating with patients and authorised representatives;
  • preparing for consultations and treatment;
  • maintaining administrative and clinical records;
  • processing applicable subsidies, benefits or insurance arrangements;
  • improving our website and services;
  • ensuring the security and proper operation of our systems;
  • complying with legal, professional and regulatory obligations; and
  • other purposes reasonably connected with the above.

By voluntarily providing personal information through the website, you consent to its collection, use and disclosure for the purposes notified to you or otherwise permitted under applicable Singapore law.

9. Accuracy of personal information

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and complete.

Please notify us when your information changes or when you become aware that information submitted through the website is incorrect.

Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect our ability to respond to your enquiry, confirm an appointment or provide appropriate administrative assistance.

10. Protection and retention of personal information

We will take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect personal information in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You should avoid submitting unnecessary or highly sensitive information through general website forms, email or messaging applications.

We will retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected, for legitimate operational or clinical purposes, or as required under applicable laws and professional obligations.

11. Service providers and overseas processing

We may engage service providers to support our website, appointment booking, hosting, communications, analytics, information technology and clinic administration.

Your information may be processed by these service providers on our behalf. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that service providers handle personal information appropriately and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

Some service providers may operate systems or store information outside Singapore. Where personal information is transferred outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to the protection required under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

12. Third-party appointment and communication platforms

The website may link to or use third-party platforms, including appointment-booking, mapping, WhatsApp, analytics and other communication services.

When you use a third-party platform, its own terms, privacy policy, security practices and service conditions may apply. Best Smile Dental does not control every aspect of these external platforms.

You should review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy information before providing personal information through its service.

A link to an external website or service does not mean that we endorse or accept responsibility for all information, products, services, content or security practices provided by that third party.

13. Cookies and website analytics

The website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • operate essential website functions;
  • remember user preferences;

  • support security and fraud prevention.

You may be able to manage cookies through your browser or any cookie-preference tool available on the website. Disabling certain cookies may affect how some parts of the website function.

14. Access, correction and withdrawal of consent

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to:

  • request access to personal information that we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
  • withdraw consent for certain uses or disclosures of your personal information; or
  • ask a question about how we handle personal information.

Withdrawal of consent will not affect any collection, use or disclosure already carried out lawfully. It may also affect our ability to provide certain website, appointment, administrative or clinical services.

Requests may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions and reasonable administrative requirements.

15. Marketing communications

We will only send marketing communications where we have an appropriate basis to do so.

Where applicable, you may withdraw your consent to receive marketing messages by using the unsubscribe method provided in the communication or by contacting us.

Administrative communications relating to an appointment, enquiry, treatment, payment or ongoing patient relationship are not necessarily marketing communications and may still be sent where reasonably required.

16. Acceptable use

  • interruption, delay or technical failure affecting the website;
  • unauthorised access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control; or
  • third-party websites, platforms or services.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud or any other liability that applicable law requires us to retain.

These website terms do not replace or reduce any rights you may have in connection with dental services provided to you.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, costs or expenses reasonably incurred by Best Smile Dental as a direct result of your unlawful use of the website, deliberate misuse of its systems or material breach of these Terms and Conditions.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

23. No waiver

A delay or failure by Best Smile Dental to enforce a provision of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.

24. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the use of this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
